For this stairway and railing remodel the stairway pony wall was removed making the downstairs more open. The upstairs railing was removed and replaced with decorative iron scrolls and a modern wooden oak handrail and false stair treads. The lower Stairway has a beautiful wooden handrail with Decorative Iron pickets on the open side and a modern wooden handrail on the wall side.
